Happy New Years Eve! Taking a short break from cleaning out closets today- wanted to start the new year with a little less clutter! We have had such a nice break from the normal routine – we’ve stayed in town most of the time and it has been a refreshing change of pace! I have new ideas in mind for 2012 and can’t wait to get started. My 2012 price list is ready and I’m so excited about offering some new stuff! Most prices are the same as 2011- but with lots of new options added in. Shoot me an email to request it! hollytyephotography@yahoo.com

Meet Finley – Columbus, GA Newborn Photographer

Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

I couldn’t wait to spend a little time with Finley! She is the daughter of Wes and Neely Ker-Fox of Ker-Fox Photography. Neely emailed when she found out she was pregnant to set up a session for Finley. She was the MOST wonderful baby to photograph- which is so fitting, being a photographer’s daughter. Wes and Neely let me move her around to all the different set-ups and do whatever I wanted- love that! This is a well-loved little girl and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have spent a few hours with you all.

The Giant Catch-up Post – Part 3

Meet Sam! What a sweet little snuggly guy. Big brother Mac came along and couldn’t wait to hold Sam. What a great session- thanks so much for the opportunity!

Meet Grant! While you’re at it- check out this neat little cocoon made by his mom! This is another precious military family I had the honor of photographing. They did our maternity/newborn combo plan with Jessica of Capture Photography. I am so so sad that Jessica and her family have moved to Texas- but seriously inspired by their positive attitude and faith in God’s perfect plan for their family. Miss you already, Jessica! Click here to see John and Stacy on her site! Loved spending time with you guys! Thank you, also, for your service to our country!!

Meet Dylan! He was such a joy to photograph…and what a handsome little fella! ;) His parents were so sweet and obviously in love with each other and him! Thank you for your service to our country.

Meet Casey! Casey came with her big sister and family. We started outside with big sis but then decided we’d be better off in the studio. This family is also a military family. It’s such an honor to spend time with you and photograph your growing family. Thank you for serving our country!

The Giant Catch-up Post – Part 1

The fall was a little crazy-In a good way mostly! I considered listing all of the things that went on in the fall, but it felt more like an annoying facebook update and I decided to skip it. Everybody’s life is busy and I won’t add to your chaos by sharing mine! In the midst of it all- I put my website on the back burner. Everyone still got their own facebook album, but I figured this part could wait. Will start by saying… Merry Christmas! I hope yours was happy and peaceful and full of family memories! But mostly, I hope it was a celebration of Christ’s birth and life- and all that has meant to you every day since. We had such a fun Christmas. Maggie is almost 2 and was so into it! Morgan (7) and Ivey (5) haven’t put their new barbies down yet! Now it’s the 27th and almost a new year. I’m normally excited about the new year- but have to admit I’m going to miss 2011! It was a wonderful year. Anyway- on to the photos- forgive me for not making each post separate but that would take all day!

First, many thanks to our 16 First Year families! It has been so fun to watch these babies grow and change. For more information on the First Year plan click here - and don’t hesitate to ask for more info- email is best!

This is Blanchard- such a sweetheart and full of smiles! Aren’t her eyes BEAUTIFUL!!?

Next is Madison- at 3 months old. She came with her big brothers and parents this time! Daddy is soon to be deployed and we wanted to capture them all together before he leaves. Thank you for your service to our country!
