Because at least 10 of them were packed in a tiny hospital room showing their love, support, and excitement for Will’s sweet parents! What a treasure this little guy is. Mom’s View Monday – Columbus, GA Newborn Photographer
Monday, April 11th, 2011Mom’s View Mondays! I didn’t forget… Just busy… in a very good way. But I’m not leaving this idea behind!
Meet Carrie, age 35, mom of four (Oliver & Ada 5 years, Wyatt 3 1/2, and Mae 2 months). Carrie is highly qualified in the mom department. I love the way she seems to hold it all together, but still be REAL! It was so much fun to meet their newest addition, Mae a couple months ago and also catch up with the rest of the fam! 
So, without further tardiness…
- What’s the best thing about motherhood? LOVE…my heart could burst.
- What’s the hardest thing about motherhood? “Me” time disappearing.
- What has come as a total surprise to you? That a baby can go a week or more without pooping and be fine! And that I actually had four kids in 5 years!
- Favorite baby item? Swaddle Designs Swaddling Blankets and my BOB baby jogger
- Most useless baby item? Diaper pails. We bag them and send the to the garage!
- Any tips on sleep- for you or your baby? Sleep when the baby sleeps is a myth! But for the babies I’ve had success with a modified mix of babywise and the baby whisperer. I’m a schedule person, and it helps manage the chaos.
- Confess! What have you done that you said you’d NEVER do? That I would go out with spit up in my hair on a pretty regular basis.
- Words of advice concerning labor, delivery, or hospital stay? Pack your own pj’s so you are comfortable after the delivery. And decide how you want things to be post delivery, will you welcome visitors or want just you and your husband, and communicate that to others.
- Any tips on preparing for your newborn session or other advice concerning a session? Holly can get a good photo out of almost any situation! But if you don’t involve older kids in a newborn session you will be less stressed! I had mine come and it was a bit of a circus for the brief time they were there That being said, I wouldn’t trade the pictures for anything, they were wonderful!
Meet Lawson – Columbus, GA Newborn Photographer
Friday, April 8th, 2011Lawson is 6 days old and already a stinker (I won’t mention any embarrassing details)! 
Well, really, he is an absolute sweetheart with a full head of hair… I had the privilege of photographing his big sister Mayson’s first year and to get to know this little guy a few years later is so much fun. We started things off with a hospital session on Sunday and met again today for his official session! Lawson’s parents are our children’s pastors at church which makes them very special to us. Thank you, Brad and Tabby, for the investment you’ve made in our kids lives. We are so happy that your new little guy is here!
